At first I was not comfortable with the outdated decor. Once settled into our room, and the roomy lobby with large outdoor porch overlooking lake placid, I was more comfortable. The location is perfect across from the Olympic Museum. Parking is very tight, especially with bike rack on back of car. The best part of the stay was a full breakfast with many options to choose from The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend to anyone to book here, especially when compared to other near by properties that cost 3x as much.

We loved the 1950’s vibe throughout the hotel, staff were always at hand for enquires and they had helped us out with an error in our initial booking. Breakfast had loads of choices and the coffee was pretty decent, and the member of staff who was present was helpful and up for a good chat.

The location was excellent. It was a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We liked the free breakfast and pool. We stayed in 3 different hotels on our trip, and this one was our favorite. Best beds of the 3 hotels wexwere in.

Beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was good. Location to downtown was good, nice balcony , nice sitting area down stairs to as well, the pool was very nice

Excellent location, right across from the Olympic museum. Breakfast was also excellent. Very nice themed dining area. Every employee we encountered was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was great. Fresh food, lots of choices and different both days we were there. The staff is very friendly and concerned with our satisfaction. Bathroom was very clean. The size of the room (double queen beds) is perfect for a family of 4.

Location is very good with the proximity to the lake. The pool installation (pool, spa and sauna) were very good. Bonus points for the hot pool. The Bed is very comfortable.

Great location! Lake on one side, Olimpic Center on the other, walking distance to restaurants and stores. The place is clean, all the people working there are very friendly and helpful. We had a room with a balcony. I loved it a lot. Great breakfast. If I ever go back to Lake Placid, it will be my place to stay for sure.

The breakfast was excellent. Pam was very friendly and very attentive to our needs. The atmosphere was truly Adirondack and Stan at the desk is a real asset. Location was great. We could walk everywhere and not worry about parking.
